Building awareness in your “voice-body” is key to singing with more confidence and freedom… here’s a great vocal tool to ease throat strain.
Are you singing from a state of “Lockdown”?
Are you breathing in, holding the ribs, and then producing sound? If you are feeling rib tension or rigidity while you sing, then you may be suffering from what I call Lockdown.
And, it may be negatively affecting the freedom of your voice.
For many singers the jaw can be a spot of tension. It is not surprising that our jaws may be a bit tight or over-involved while singing – it is powerhouse muscle. Try these exercises and see how they may help you!
